I would much prefer to shop this way.  I know that the product will get used and is good for whoever I’ve given it to.  Several of the jams, jellies and preserves I’ve given over the years were highly praised, and prompted a visit to the shop for re-stocking, making the shop a new regular customer.  If we want more products like this, we have to support them as much as we can.  And I often get myself a treat or two while I’m at it.  Hey, don’t tell anyone.  That’s a secret.
